XLER8 is the newest learning program that is:
XLER8 was designed with a goal in mind: to be a learning program for kids by a kid. As an IXL user (granted it's not horrible) when I see hundreds of others angry at the program for the unforgiving Smartscore™ on r/IXLSucks I think "Okay, let me find another program I can recommend". Yet most other learning programs have major flaws too: be it that Prodigy turns pay-to-win, AdaptedMind feels too childish, and so on.
XLER8, to make something old yet effective, adds multiple things to make learning more fun for others.
Everybody loves a good streak to keep themselves going and keep themselves careful so it doesn't break. This replaces IXL's Smartscore for something that's not as required to complete a skill, which is another thing XLER8 does.
One of IXL's biggest complaints is its Smartscore: you get one question wrong and suddenly you lose 8 points. It's annoying and honestly unfair. To combat this, I made the questions customizable based on difficulty level, and made the questions go endlessly so you don't need to worry about fulfilling a (in my opinion) useless goal.
One of the biggest additions to XLER8 that seperates it from other learning programs: rewards for learning. Every correct question earns you five coins. Getting 100 coins allows you to play minigames for a chance to earn more coins (with more risky games giving higher rewards), and offer a break from learning, but requires learning to access so there's an incentive for everyone to learn.
